"Kids UA is a support project for children of Ukraine's defenders:
NGO "Opportunities. Motivation. Media." with the support of the German Government created the Kids UA psychological support project for children of Ukraine's defenders: military, police, representatives of the State Emergency Service, TRO, border guards, and volunteers.
The Kids UA team has been supporting young Ukrainians since the beginning of the war. More than 2000 children have already completed a psychological support program in a unique online format. But the new project is for children whose parents face danger every day and are actively bringing the Victory closer. Participation in the project is an opportunity for them to plunge into the atmosphere of warm communication with a magical friend. The child can be located anywhere in the world!
What is Kids UA?
This is a unique format of psychological support for young Ukrainians. Imagine that a child will meet a magical character, Carrot, in a special MaPanda app! Together with her friend, the kids will play, complete interactive tasks, and gain interesting knowledge about the world around them.
But most importantly, Morkvinka will become a child's friend who will mitigate the negative psychological effects of the war, teach them to focus on the positive and help them increase their sense of unity with their close adults.
Morkvinka is not just an animated character, she is an experienced teacher-psychologist. But this is a secret of adults! This secret will help the child to plunge into fairy-tale adventures and trust the magical friend.
Participants of the Kids UA project will receive:
* 8 calls from Morkovinka (twice a week) for 15-20 minutes each.
* 10 therapeutic video fairy tales from Morkovinka, designed to meet the needs of a tender target audience
* Surprise from a fairy friend
* Gentle involvement of adults who care for kids in the call-meeting
* Answers to exciting questions from a psychologist expert on social media and interactive live chat for parents * Electronic manual "Candlelight games" from Morkovinka
The results of previous activities:
"Kids UA" is the third and largest project of the team of the NGO "Opportunities. Motivation. Media." Over 2000 children have participated in previous projects over the past year.
About 97% of the parents surveyed noted a high positive impact. After meeting the magical character, children became more attentive to their loved ones, more open, more joyful, and began to strive to learn about the world around them!
